Team Chat & Calls

Conversations that turn into finished work

Most work starts as a message. Buzzflo keeps that message and everything it becomes in one place, so a decision made in a group chat on Monday is still traceable on Friday.

Capabilities

What you get

One-to-one and group chat

Real-time messaging with read receipts, typing indicators, reactions, replies, mentions and threaded context. Media, voice notes and documents are handled inline.

Voice and video calls

Peer-to-peer calls for individuals and groups, with screen sharing, live captions, and calls logged straight into the conversation.

Turn any message into a task

Long-press a message and attach it to a project. The sender becomes the assignee, the message becomes the task title, and the thread stays linked.

Encrypted at rest

Message content is encrypted in the database with AES-256-GCM, so a database dump never exposes plain text.

Included

Also included

  • Archive, mute, favourite and tag conversations
  • Forward and multi-select messages
  • Pinned messages with a jump-to banner
  • Image editor before sending a screenshot
  • Offline outbox that sends on reconnect

Every one of these works alongside the rest of the platform — see the full product tour or compare what each plan includes.

Questions

Team Chat & Calls questions

Can I use Buzzflo chat on both mobile and web?

Yes. Buzzflo runs as an Android app and a full web client, and the two stay in sync in real time. You can link a device by scanning a QR code or entering a six-character pairing code.

Are group video calls supported?

Yes. Group calls use a mesh WebRTC connection, which works well for small teams of around five or six people. Each participant appears in a grid, and any tile, including a shared screen, can be spotlighted full size.

What happens to a message after I link it to a project?

The message becomes a task inside that project and keeps a badge linking back to the original conversation. The sender is added to the project automatically and set as the default assignee.

Is my chat data encrypted?

Message content is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM before it is stored. Transport is over HTTPS and secure WebSockets.
