Can I use tasks without using projects?
Yes. If the projects module is switched off, tasks live in a hidden personal bucket and every task flow, including creating a task from a chat message, keeps working without the project concept appearing anywhere.
How is time tracked on a task?
You add time log entries with hours, a date and an optional note. A task's total is the sum of its logs and a project's hours are the sum across its tasks, so reports and invoices reflect real logged work.
Can tasks repeat automatically?
Yes. A task can recur daily, on weekdays, on weekends or weekly, and generated instances are marked so you can tell them apart from one-off tasks.
Who can see a project's costs?
Financial figures are strictly owner-only by default. Members and managers see the work without seeing contract value, cost or profit.
